Different types of games continued coming out, and a decade after these releases, the focus was definitely on creating online casino games. That was the time where we saw legendary titles come out in the likes of Age of Empires, Starcraft, Rome: Total War, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos along with its expansion the Frozen Throne. Strategy games were very popular in the 90s and early to mid 2000s. Strategy games are considered to be a very rare genre in the modern era as we see less and less good strategy games come out in the last couple of years. Be warned, however, the mod deletes all the non-GoT civs. Start up a mp game and you'll be able to choose the Game of Thrones civs. To get it working, you and the person you're playing with both have to unzip the file and then copy the "MP_MODSPACK" folder within to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\Assets\DLC. I did end up making a modpack with the Ice & Fire mod, which I uploaded for anyone interested. Cheers: ĮDIT: Above method doesn't work, I found out a few days after I wrote this and forgot to edit. I wrote a short one myself specific to this mod which I put on pastebin which would save you a lot of time. You can use that tutorial for getting pretty much any civ 5 mod to work in multiplayer, it works just fine and I did it myself. Other than that though, it works like a charm. I tried it with Ice & Fire, and it works, but for some reason it doesn't remove the regular civs like it would if you launched it normally. Next time you launch the game, it treats the mod like it's genuine DLC and loads it up with the rest. Basically you copy over the mod folder into a certain DLC's folder, and then enter some new lines in the *.Civ5Pkg file for the DLC to point towards the xml files of the mod.
